Impulse Buys And Why It Makes Me Die Inside

lol

I saw some kids just walking through at midnightish, they got served no problem

The said McDonald's is in Bedford... A lot of people there have no concept of right and wrong.

For example:
Sit on a hill smoking weed - RIGHT!
Go through a McDonald's after biking 12 miles without your bike lock and all you want is a cold drink - WRONG!

Bedford... Yup.

Impulse buying is so last season, I have taken throwing money down the drain to its logical conclusion and on payday draw out 25% of my pay and then literally push it through a sewer grate to be dispersed accordingly.

Give me £100 and I'll research it for you.

I won't research it, I just want 100 pounds.

I still read small print i just buy things that i want...i dont buy ***p i dont want. everything i bought is very good and i enjoy it, i havent spent any money on things i don't use.

So is an impulse buy something you bought that you don't really want or is it anything you bought that you could live without...i think if you bought something you want and will use.. but bought it quickly it can't be an impulse buy

I'd say it's still an impulse buy if you get it and you do want it/end up using it a lot.

I impulse bought a t-shirt the other week. Browsing online, it caught my eye "LIMITED STOCK. BUY QUICK"

Bought it. Worn it a fair bit and will continue to do so. :)

God damn you!!! I soooooo want the black one. Hmpph so very nice and very very tempted. Guess I should be good and save up instead. *sad panda*

My main impulse buy's are steam sales, I just cant help myself :D

Haha sorry. They are pieces of art!

I know this won't help you but...
They are hand made by the seller, come with 3 year warranty & he makes very few of each.

I some how managed not give steam any of my money this summer! :D

I usually spend way too much time researching before I buy - sometimes even on low-value items. I am a sucker for Steam/Indie sales though.

You impulse-bought laser eye surgery? Nice.

I usually do lots of research before buying something which helps to eliminate impulse buys (as taking lots of time to research something is, by definition, not "impulse") - about to splash a bit on a new badminton racket though! Well-researched, informed choice though . . . probably :p

Buy one, get one free on Lyon's Battenberg cakes :( At least I haven't eaten them myself, when i got back to work after lunch I was thinking, "What have I done", and promptly shared it out with the guys in the office.

I could fill a shop with my impulse buys, but I don't have the time as I need to go shopping for stuff I don't need.

An impulse buy is something you buy on impulse - i.e. you see it and decide to buy it with minimal deliberation or thought process.

Whether you subsequently use it, don't use it, like it, hate it, whatever is irrelevant. You still bought it on impulse.

Buying something you don't want is just stupidity, buying something you could live without is frivolous.
