you cant tell me the skyline doesnt look HUGE. and as for the subaru engine, its got a great burble, better than your average inline four.

Thats got to be one of the worst pictures of a Skyline you could have gotten lol..

R32 GTR With nasty kit..

Try looking for a R34 GTR V-spec II nur.. you may like it ;)

But the same as any other flat four. like I said, it just sounds like a loud, 50 year old VW with a Halfords-Special exhaust.

But there are really not many other flat fours around. 50 year old VW's with halford Special exhuasts are not commonly found/

I think his point was that you don't buy a Subaru if you want to be different. They aren't exactly rare.

And everyone elses point is that the sound a Subaru makes is different from most other cars on the road.

Smartass... getting alittle personal now aint ya?

I dont like being called it.. so dont end of story..

No, end of story is when you explain which other production cars have flat four engines.

Go on then list the other production flat fours, smartass.

well, as you said, volkswagon used flat fours a lot in their back in the day (air-cooled), porsche also use the boxer configuration, probably due to the low centre of gravity it has. the only other car i know with a flat four is an Alfa 146, they have also been used on motorbikes as well.
