No need for the roll-eyes son, I was actually joking, hence the ' ;) '.

I had no intention of actually posting them again.

Have one back -

P1 / RB5 / V6 STI Wagon in black / 22b / New Spec C / Type RA-R

Evo 5 / EVO 6 TME / EVO 9 340 / EVO 10

R32 GTR - Vspec / R33 GTR Le Mans / R34 Nismo

The above is a list of cars that I would be interested in if I were to buy one of the above.

As for Vs each one is different in thier way. Where I live I'd really only consider an R32 because the 33 and 34 look too big (I don't care about the size they look too big to me)

22B and P1 would be useless on our quartely trip to Ikea so they loose on Vs practicality (sp) hence the inclusion of the wagon as it would win for my needs.

As for the EVOs they're OK I suppose. Would like to have one to say I have had one but not bothered - same with Skylines and some Imprezas.

Don't mind me, I'm thinking of Part-exing my Impreza for a Discovery right now so I think I've got problems! :)

That's a funny post pure genius, and he SHOULD be a motorist column writer for some evo mag, but i'm still wondering why in his owned cars bit lists an accord and corolla? has he sold both his evo and skyline? If he hates his skyline so much, i'll buy it off him!

Indeed, irrespective of wether people agree with his opinions, the way in which the posts are written is just hilarious.

Besides, baiting Skyline fanboys is fun ;)

I read it before and it is very funny, but its also hopelessly inaccurate. I've driven 3 Evo 7's in different stages of tune and reguarly drive a R33 GTR and I would still choose the heavier 'slow' GTR

In stock untweaked trim I'd be the first to agree its not the greatest car in the world. But with a few £k spent its a delight to drive. You just have to up the boost to 0.9-1bar and then you have 380bhp under your foot and gearing to take it to silly speeds.

It's just my preferred car, but then I would happily take a sorted Pulsar GTI-R over an Evo of any type. They have far more character :)

Definitely, however i don't know whether to take the guy seriously or not? It's all probably true i don't like to doubt people especially with something a beautifully written as that.

However flame baiting fanboys is just cruel! cruel i say! you might actually hit a nerve! and besides we all know giving into the darkside and unleashing the anger with ignited lightsabres only gets you forcepwned and banned. See us fanboys aren't as dumb as we look, even if i do look like a spaz. :D

However i do love evos too (can't wait for the X), but up against a z-tune? come on you know which one you'd pick too if you were presented with the choice on a platter, even if you do love your dc2 which in itself is a nice example, sir.

Z-Tune is a different matter, 'tis a beast and there's no denying it.

But If I had to choose between a 'vanilla' GTR and one of the higher spec EVOs I would honestly choose the EVO as I prefer a B-Road weapon.

Don't get me wrong, like I've said on here on numerous occasions I do respect the Skyline, and it makes a great base for creating a fire-breathing monster.

But for the money there are other cars I would take over a stock GTR.

pfft!

MLR guys are a pretty sound bunch, albeit a few stuck up ones

they didnt mind me whopping there arses in a B reg fiesta :D

onto topic it would be a tough choice! Spec c's are very nice cars and out of the box probally have it in performance terms over the Evo's(bar special Uk editions.)

Never been a Skyline fan although there engines sound fantastic, unlike the sewing machine Evo's :D

If I had a realistic choice at the moment it would be a Evo V Rs for track work and an early Evo (1-3) for drag racing :)
