In a few mins you will have a chance to grab a 6800 or 3060Ti

I just have to figure out if I can live back in Rasterization world after the glorious Raytracing master rendering.

AKA what literally everyone was doing before Cyberpunk came out. Then that game is released and suddenly Raytracing is the most important feature...

Also seems the 3D printer page was updated with increased pricing, not impressed

Supply and demand. :p

6800's almost hitting £800 :D What a world. Oh and that's the non-XT :p :D

Too many people with too much money I guess. No way would I pay even £650 for a 6800/3070 level card yet we seem to be have people who are crazy or desperate enough to do just that.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. I've seen... RX 580s for £360 :p
Yeh total madness but does help to get a new card when you sell a 5700xt for 600 then its only 200 pound out your own pocket so a 6800 for 200 pounds aint bad buisness i that sense the worlds gone mad :p you couldnt buy a 5700xt for 200 pounds even before this madness started

I recently sold a second hand 2080Ti for £750, and the MSI 2080 Super Gaming X Trio for £700. Absurd selling prices, but it sits roughly in line with how things are being priced relative to performance(I think!).
I had no qualms getting a 3080 at a dumb high price, since I could at least sell my existing cards for a dumb high price. Only thing I dislike is the 10GB VRAM.

I could have got a lot for my 1080ti I expect if I put it on ebay, but took the low risk approach of the MM.

Try going 5 months without a GPU after selling your 2080 in September 2020 and that will seem like a bargain!

P.S 6800/3070 are both high level cards and more than enough for 90% of peoples needs.
