What do people recommend in the £25-£75 price bracket?

Going to be paired with a Nokia 5310.

Thanks in advance.

Lower end - Mylarone x3 at $57 (£27)

Mid - Etymotic ER-6i Black $86 (£42)

Not sure about what to get at the high end of your budget but either of these would probably be great.

I use these sony ones as i dont like the bullet style ones, these are really comfortable.
had three sets now as my "friend" droped my last pair off his motorbike, and my brothers cat decided to try and eat the other pair!
good quality and very good bass for in-ear type phones.

'bout £20-25

It depends to an extent what sort of music you listen to. I quite like the Sony EX71, but there's no denying they're a bit bass heavy at times - then again, with the music I listen to that suits me fine :)

the ex71's are trash lol. the ex85's are virtually identical to the ex90's in sound quality, but you can get them for around £25 now. the ex85's for sure are the best buy under £70.

I recommend the Mylarone X3, they are fantastic for the small price and they are tiny and very lightweight. Only real downside to the is the build quality, they don't feel like much, but the sound they produce is awesome.

How does that work ? do you put the plugs in your ears then wrap cling film around ya head to keep the sound in
:D

Ah the images of that LOL! :D

I appreciate all the help here, although I was expecting there to be more of a "favourite" rather than so many different suggestions! :)

I listen mostly to things like Muse, Audioslave etc so good bass is important to me, but I don't want good base at the detriment of everything else.

Hard for people to have a subjective favourite really, different tastes etc. and then there's the fact it's really hard to test out lots of different in ear headphones without spending a fortune...

Best bet is to ask on Head-Fi or similar as they're about the only people mental enough to buy about 10 different sets :p

I've ordered the Etymotic ER-6i's for £42 over the Shure E2C's which can be had for £29.99 online because the bass on the Shure phones is meant to be pretty weak.
