Need some new 'phones. Would like to spend less but up to £50 is alright.

Need to be in ear.

Had a pair of Sennheiser's before, they were good. Is there anything else I should be looking at?

soundmagic pl30 £15 delivered ish from a place in hong kong no customs charge you will never spend a better £15 on earphones.
or even the pl50's

Sennheiser CX100 II's I find very comfortable and sound fantastic to me. Bought them a month ago for £16

However I haven't heard the IEM's that C64 recommended but he swears by em and he has more experience in this field than I :)

No not really but I can compare them to sony mdr ex85 sennheiser cx300 mylarone x3i and they are a bit better than x3i and the x3i > all of the above.

lol well there's your answer Spamalot ;)

btw C64 it appears you live just up the road from me. I'm very near the Rosehill roundabout on the Sutton side :)

Id recommend Head Direct's RE02, great headphones for the cash, well presented and headfi seems to think they stood up to 100 quid shures and the like (the RE02 cost about 30), havent used them a huge amount yet as I still dont go to the gym, but they do sound very nice after a bit of run in and much more balanced than my Senn cx300 which are now used as ds 'phones or for when they might get damaged.

And I am closer to the town centre when I am not at uni ;)

On topic, the Sennheiser CX500's have been going for £15.99 around the web and are very good for that price.
