My car is nearing the end of it's life and rather than go through a costly MOT and keep it for maybe another 2 months I was thinking of trading it in this weekend. MOT runs out Jan 28th ish.

Anyway have been browsing the autotrader site and this caught my eye.

http://www.s-bcars.co.uk/GetDealer.do?did=14810&pageid=1 link didn't work so it's the 4th car down 316i sport

Obviously I would need to go look at it but I was a bit wary since there is no mention of mileage at all in the ad

Any advice/opinions appreciated

What exactly are you looking for? Do you have any specific requirements?

Err....I do about 150 miles a week to and from work etc

Not too heavy on the fuel costs

Something that is going to withstand not having too much tinkering done....already been warned away from an alpha romeo on this basis

Basically i thought the BMW would be nice inside and nicer to drive than thje crappy almera I currently have....obviously my thinking was flawed considering the instant flaming on here (which I appreciate btw since it stopped me wasting 3k)
