But the SBE's heatpipe looks to be only 2/3 of the size of the heatpipes on the original SilverArrow, so it is more like 12 and a half heatpipe instead of the 8 on the original

H100 was never a great cooler anyway.
Does the Silver Arrow SBE come with the chillfactor 3 paste in the box ?

There's nothing wrong with it performance wise...the problem with it is its price tag. If it was only around £60-£70, there would be more people interested in it.
Would the SB-E give me better temps than the H100? The h100 is clicky and irritating!
It already can... I can put a Prolimatech Megahalem inside, and a 25mm fan above it.

Probably still better. I never tested the VX passively but the Macho isn't really the best passively anyway.
Apart from the noise it starts making after some use.
