So now the question is do I change my Titan Goliath order from the 5870 to the 5850 because I know it's in stock...or do I wait and hope that OCUK will give me some sort of ETA when they will have the 5870 in stock and when I will be getting one...?????
 
If you get the 5850 when you really want the 5870, for stock reasons, -- I think it will just always kind of bug you that you are getting less performance than you actually wanted.

When there are plenty of 5870s in stock, and you have another 2 years of only 5850 performance it will be even more annoying ..

Just my 2 cents but just wait if required, and buy what you actually want to buy!!

Hey Fatboy. Sorry for hijacking this treadh

You got asus 5850 at 20.11 and I was 1 in the queue (was told on webnote at 12.11). On that day when you got asus's, my order went to "printed our werehouse", but couple hours later it went back to "In our warehouse queuee". I know "MattyJ" got same card, but I didn't..

What happend? I´m soon waited my order 2 months and never going get 5850 (someone else get them before me, even if they ordered later than me)..

Now I asked same question from webnote and answer was: Unfortunately we dont have any of the 5850s at present so we would be unable to change this item over.

I have no idea what has happened I am afraid. All the orders go through in order unless there was another Item OOS on your order.

What is your order number I will have a look into this for you.

The Asus card you have ordered is £45 cheaper than the sapphire one I have in stock. Are you ok for me to charge the difference or are you ok waiting for the Asus part.

Hmm not sure if i should just wait for xfx ones to come in as i dont really know why the sapphire ones cost more !

If i could get the sapphire one at same price then i would otherwise i will wait , not in any hurry my gts250 is doing ok ;)

maby fatboy could do me a wee deal for spending over 1k at ocuk in just 6 months lol ;)

^wishfull thinking but god loves a tryer .

I have the same situation but I decided to pay that extra for the Sapphire. My current graphics card is 7900GT and it's kind of bottleneck in my new computer. I left a webnote and now I'm just waiting confirmation and hopefully it gets shipped today. :)
