Partly inspired by this article (http://blogs.cnet.com/8301-13506_1-9858188-17.html) what console would you consider the greatest console of all time?
Three come to mind for me as challengers:
From these I'd go with the SNES. The Playstation, while an all conquering beast, didn't really have that many games I enjoyed. The Dreamcast was ahead of its time, but failed commercially and I fear there is definitely a case of rose tinted vision when people look back at it.

Three come to mind for me as challengers:
- SNES - Partly because it was what I had as a kid, but also because of its diverse and strong line up of games. Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Star Wing etc.
- Sony Playstation 2 - Because it brought gaming to the masses.
- Sega Dreamcast - Because it was so ahead of its time.
