Inbetweeners (US)

I wanted to turn off after 2mins but once I pushed through the OMG IT THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT it got quite enjoyable.

In 30-40 seconds I hated it. Where Mr. Gilbert kicks the door open and pulls down the poster. It just shows how OTT the show was going to be

Hmm, trailer not as bad as I thought it would be. I think if you look at it as if it was a completely new show then it's not that bad. But it's not a new show and there fore comparison is inevitable.

It highlights how different British and American culture and audiences are. We appreciate the bad language and mockery and sarcasm used because it's 'us', whereas clearly American audiences are more conservative and soft. The main shortcoming is basically Jay's character, there's just no way you could get that into an American show. I reckon it'll go down well in America. But at the risk of turning into a generic high school show instead of standing out like our version.

Well, while we're on the subject of remakes - you all will be glad to know, that after rejecting it last year ABC made a decision to bring back their "Only Fools And Horses" remake project. The network formally issued order for new "retooled" pilot with almost entire originally contracted cast and crew from last years dead project returning.

The show, should the new pilot succeed, will be called "Kings Of Van Nuys" and star John Leguizamo as Del, Dustin Ybarra as Rodney and Christopher Lloyd as their aging grandfather.

And it's over for "The Inbetweeners (US)" - MTV announced that “While we won’t be moving forward with another season of The Inbetweeners, we enjoyed working with the show’s creators and such a talented, funny cast,”

Has to be one of the worst programmes I've ever watched. I put off watching until now and the only reason I am is because I'm too lazy to change the channel :p.
