Inevitable Problem k750i - Sticky Joystick - Help?

Hi Guys,

My K750i has finally got on my ****. It's had a sticky joystick for a while, the same problem i had with my t610, now its almost not useable.

Is this a problem with something mechanical or would you say it could be dust collected from my pockets of fluff? Whats the best/cheapest way to fix it as i can't afford a new phone atm or go on a new contract.

Any help would be appreciated

someone told me to open it up and put some wd40 on it, but i wouldnt advise it, i would have thought that would break it ? :\
