** INSANITY HERE AT OcUK: HD 7950 SUB £100 & 7850 FOR £50 !! **

The reason they are dying is because they are installed right next to each other.......

Seriously do people have no common sense, how on earth does he think the card can cool itself when it has zero airflow for the fans.

Once again anyone running Crossfire or SLI with cards right next to each other, only the genuine reference coolers can perform in such close proximity to each other or watercooled cards.

Even the Crossfire/SLI connectors are made at a length to encourage spacing cards out, heck one of them force you to space them out with a clear slot between! :D

I still remember how many people (inc me) had problems with these MSI 7950's at the time... :(

What issues? I've had to undervolt my reference refurb in order to prevent the VRM overheating at stock clocks. In two minds about an RMA to be honest.

Sounds like an RMA job.

Some useful links perhaps, lot more if you search for MSI and 7950 in the graphics sub-forum.

I've just reread this thread and I couldn't understand what I meant in some of my post. The 1 year I lived in a different country using different language made me forget a lot of stuff...

Back to the topic...
