Inserting Images into an RSS Feed?

Hi guys, I can't seem to figure this one out. I've got an RSS feed for the news on my website. I've got the content side of things sorted out, I just can't figure out the tags / code to insert an image into the feed as it would be viewed in any RSS reader.

For example, engadget.com have an RSS feed, and when you get an update / news article, it shows a picture as part of the news feed in your RSS viewer.

Can anyone help!?

Enclose the content of your item <description> in a CDATA block - with a CDATA block you can use regular HTML as you wish (including <img> elements and so on).
