Installed memory (ram) 16.0GB (7.95 usable)

Is this some sort of windows quirk. Is there a setting wrong somewhere?
Only noticed it because i ran task manager to see what was happening RAM wise whilst running Cyberpunk.
Bios shows 16GB 4x4Gb sticks.
Windows sees 16Gb but is only using 7.95GB.
Ryzen 5 2600.
Gigabyte AX-370 Gaming 3.
4x4Gb Team Group DDR4-2400.
Windows 10 pro 64bit.

What slots have you put the ram in too?
The Ram slots. 1x4GB stick in to each of the four slots.

Check your motherboard manual and make sure you have put them in the correct slots.
4 slots , four sticks of ram . How can it be wrong?

Press Windows key + R and type in MSCONFIG > Boot tab > Advanced Options
Been there seen it done it.

Make sure maximum memory is unticked

Makes no difference.

Resmon shows, Hardware reserved 8241MB , in use 6480MB varies , Modifed 37MB , Standby 1464MB Varies , Free 166 -169MB . Available 1626MB varies. Cached 1525MB, Total 8143MB , Installed 16384.
