Insurance groups

just a quick question, i've heard that only at certain ages you can use certain insurance groups like group 20 you have to be at least 22years old, can anyone confirm this?

edit: To make this a better reply, you can insure pretty much anything at any age, if you have enough cash.

But at younger ages some companies wont touch you with higher insurance groups, some will on the other hand, just means you have to search harder.

okie doke that does help, mine is currently a class 14 @ 20 years i am with 1 year ncb ; £700

From my own experience it depends entirely on the insurance company. Some companies won't insure me on my Group 18 A3 stating that they require a higher minimum age to insure it (I am 21)

However others are more than happy to quote with reasonable prices.
