Insurance Nightmare

So I get exactly the same quotes for my renewal - £500

Problem is I have moved from a 1.8 Turbo 150 bhp 3 year old Seat to a 10 year old 1.2 corsa. I have 8 Years no claims now.

Obviously I threw the renewal away, no way am I paying the same amount! Strange thing is I am getting quotes around this mark everywhere online!

The best so far has been with Hastings Direct at £350. Is there anywhere I can go or anything I can do to get it cheaper?

So far tried:

Elephant, Morethan, Aviva (recommended to me), Santander, Confused, MoneySupermarket, gocompare.

My best hope I think is to go to Direct Line as my wife is with them, we might be able to get a MultiCar discount (I hope).

Any clues guys?

Hahahaha, just pay the £350 and be thankful your doing ok enough with insurance to consider that situation a nightmare lol XD

Yes! I want to pay £300!!! My normaly renewals are outragous and I can normally knock £200 off by going to Compare sites.

If you can remember the reg, try getting a quote on the seat. You will see how much its gone up from last time sadly.

I cant speak for other peoples experiences with Hastings but I tried to insure with them last year and they ***** up so much that I had to cancel the policy (which they had not even created) and go elsewhere

What's the problem? you've gone from a seat to a 1.2 corsa that a lot of young people are driving.
