When they sent my renewal through it was only £50 cheaper than the year before. Obviously not as bad as your situation but still a bit of a joke. I did a quote online and it came out about £250 cheaper, so I called them up and moaned and they matched the online quote.

Forgot to say.. thats with 1 yrs NCB added on also lol.. ive been claim free lol :D

my insurance on the volvo this year is £650 TPFT (0 NCB). As most of you have seen, ive just upgraded to the 2.3 turbo. Ive run a quote through confused and got a quote back at £350 TPFT with 1 years NCB (i get the NCB next month) so will be interesting to see how much churchill want come renewal time. Its looking like around £550 judging by their online quote system. If so, its bye bye churchill, and hello to this other company (Direct Choice for those who know them)

Interestingly enough, direct choice have been over £200 cheaper on all the volvos in our household than any other company.

/edit - this is at 22 with 1NCB next month - licience since 16.

was 21 when i started driving (last sept) with the £1200 quote.. thats fully comp (it was £100 more.. so thought meh) im 22 now and have the 1yrs NCB to add on. :)

Is there a website i can check my postcode? Never really thought about this before. Living in Liverpool probably doesn't help when you have alloy wheels :( :o :p

Someone posted a list in here...might be in a sticky.

Thanks guys, should have checked my bad
//Edit Liverpool/Sefton/Merseyside don't seem to be on that list. In fact it doesn't look very complete at all.

My renewal came through today. Gone up to £854 :(
Any reason, or are the just being moneygrabbing ********?

For comparison mine when i renew it soon is going to be £1007 (cheapest i've found so far) for 10 months TPFT and for a car much worse than yours :p

It's sorted by the first letter/letters of the postal code, not town/city name.

Liverpool (and I assume all the surrounding area) are listed under L

Insurance companies ar a joke, NUD only want a measly £2000 more than im currently paying to take my insurance over to them.

Not as bad as budget, they are a whole £3000 more expensive.

Lost 2 years NCB when the suspension failed last year. They couldn't prove whether the failure caused the impact or the impact caused the failure.
