When is the 11900k likely to be reviewed and benchmarked? Would rather see how that stacks up against AMD than the 11700k.
We retested the Core i7-11700K Rocket Lake processor using Intel's latest 0x34 microcode update. Low single digit gains in CPU and GPU performance, with individual tests up to +10%. Some MT regressions, however. Original i7-11700K review has been updated

Can you tell me what cooler your useing on your 10700k please as looking at doing a intel build thanks oh and what sort of temps whilst gameing thanks10700k owner here, I don't see any reason to upgrade. I only use the PC for gaming and I don't think I'm CPU bound at all at ultra wide resolution.
I use a Phanteks water block in a custom loop, it usually sites between 50 and 60 in games. Can you tell me what cooler your useing on your 10700k please as looking at doing a intel build thanks oh and what sort of temps whilst gameing thanks
Cheers mate so its watercooled thanks for letting me knowI use a Phanteks water block in a custom loop, it usually sites between 50 and 60 in games.
Yeah, not much point if you've already got a decent 8 core CPU. It's 5ghz all core isn't it?
New CPUs probably only 5-10% faster.
The microcode has effectively made no difference, there are minor changes up and down but overall not much has changed and latency is still a problem
Bad time for cpu buying imo.
Best for ryzen was probably 2000 series. Granted they made significant strides since, but the price increases are a bit of a wow.
Intel was probably best in coffeelake era. I got my 9900k cheap but wouldnt have paid normal price for it.
On top of this motherboard price inflation has gone crazy.
Wish i could find a new 10700k for that ive been looking for a while and lowest ive seen is just under 30010700k is well priced seem em as low as £250 which is a steal. if its for gaming forget bs now amd cpu even out now beats it. or enough to pay a gouged 150 - 200 quid more to notice.
HopefullyGive it a couple of weeks, when this next lot launch, the old will likely drop in price further.
