I'm looking at the 7800X, but not liking any of the mobos available. Hope we hear from coffeelake shortly?

Guys, is Coffee Lake now def on for next year now? August rumours were bogus?
Don't really want to wait any longer to start my W/C build, so may just pickup a s/h 7700K and Board to last me a little while... (it's a mATX case, Caselabs S5)

coffeelake 8700k and 8600k are this year, next year is the lower end cpus.

Rather clear Ryzen has forced Intel to push clocks well past optimum to avoid losing in performance.

Yeah that power consumption is insane, its 40% more than the 6950X and 1800X.
