Intel Pentium G4560 Cannibalizing Core i3 Sales, Company Effectively Kills it

Do you still have it?

Yeah. The PC it's in is a HTPC which tbh I'm not getting any use out of. It was a waste of a rig. So I've got myself a i5 7600K to stick in there instead, going to stick a GPU in there and use it as a gaming rig. Which means the G4560 needs to go. I have a thread up in members market. If no interest by this weekend it's going on ebay. I'm open to offers but I'm not going to give it away since I paid retail and it's seen practically zero use. I think I threw the OEM cooler out as well. I bought a pretty decent £45 cooler which I'll be using on the i5 7600K. I may have the cooler and box I'll need to check the attic this weekend but I probably did throw it out thinking I have no need for an OEM cooler.

Would Intel admit to reducing supply?

What we do see is the G4560 selling for way above MSRP in the US close to 7100 prices.

Even if it was demand, Intel have the ability to match demand easily.

This isn't like the same situation as AMD who are desperately trying to produce as many cards as possible to cash in on the demand.

Dodgy dishonest Intel would not admit to anything but they have definitely shelved the 4560.
