Hi all,

My PC has this rather unusual quirk where, on occasion, it will black screen (in Windows), and then will refuse to post (with the VGA light on) until I fully unplug it and leave it. This issue has been present for the last few months, though I haven't been able to find a cause. More recently, however, is that, around 80% of the time, it will get stuck on the BOOT light for around 2 minutes, before then taking about 2 more minutes to get into Windows. When it gets into Windows, it's very slow and Explorer frequently crashes.

I have tried:

- Plugging and Unplugging the Graphics Card

- Resetting CMOS

- chkdsk and sfc /scannow

- Reinstalling Windows

- Windows Diagnostic RAM Test

- FurMark - was slower than previous attempts at same settings

- CPU-Z - CPU shows up fine

- GPU-Z - GPU shows up fine

- Checking Task Manager - everything shows up OK

- Checked Temps - all good

- Swapping SSD out and installing windows on a fresh SSD - no dice (refused to show up in BIOS)

This computer (custom-built) has been a bit of a hassle for me. The previous motherboard died unexpectedly after around 2 years. I'm afraid perhaps something has failed or that perhaps something is failing.

SPECS:

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7 Eight Core Processor i7-10700KF

MOTHERBOARD: ROG STRIX B560F GAMING WIFI (according to CPU-Z)

M.2 SSD: 1TB INTEL® 665p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD

PSU: CORSAIR 550W CV SERIES™ CV-550 POWER SUPPLY

CPU COOLER: Corsair H100i RGB PLATINUM Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler

EXTRA CASE FANS: 1x 120mm Black Case Fan (configured to extract from rear/roof)

I would appreciate anyone's opinion as I'm at a loss and I can't afford to pay someone to diagnose it

BIOS behaves fine in BIOS - the BIOS isn't the latest, but has been fine since I got the board about 2 years ago. There hasn't been any substantial hardware changes, bar the removal of a HDD and a SSD.
