Will overclocking an i7 2600k CPU have any impact on transcoding if the transcoding is processed by the internal GPU of the i7 2600k?
My understanding is that if a PC has a discrete GPU and an i7 2600k with internal GPU then transcoding video into other formats is handled internally by the i7 2600k subject to it being configured that way.
Will overclocking the CPU increase the speed of transcoding or is the internal GPU of the i7 2600k not impacted by an overclock of the CPU?
