Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

One the internet people end up using the pics that make them look the best, this can be quite decieving as the lighting etc can enhance their looks. It happens and you get decieved and the final product you see is nowhere like the pics as in your case

I do love the fact she wanted to go get some beers....or should I say tins!

Well I've got me a wee date to look forward to after this week of hell which is Uni

Been messaging for a while on PoF then quickly moved onto texts and we're gonna get together at some point this weekend

Yeah we'll see what happens, its always the case of does the conversation and how you get along translate in person. Just going to go for a nice casual drink which is always good to get to know each other better.

Though PoF as it is works fine but I do find it quite funny how many people are paying for the "serious member" thing on their profiles.

You are correct about the average thing, you have the balance of girls who dont want to put slim or what not and then you have the girls who dont want to put "a few extra pounds".

Thats when full length shots become a must in terms of finded a girl on there if you really are concerned about the size...I for one am

I'm a slim guy so no point in dating someone mahoosive

Anyways pics wise what seems to be working out well for me is the good old Capt.Jack look from past halloweens and also an pic I put up which every girl seems to think I look like Mickey from Eastenders (Joe Swash) which is of course to them a good thing

thank god I dont talk like him though

Well considering im doing an Architecture post grad the oppurtunity isnt great at times with the amount of time spent working....kinda stuck in your own department. Plus the Union is littered with stupid 18 year olds....not that its always a bad thing

Plus Fendi it's not a bad way to meet girls at all, dont knock it until you've tried, plus there are plenty of arguments about the benefits of getting to know them this way rather than in bars and clubs. Plenty of students on there doing exactly the same thing.

See I just fell PoF comes in heaps and troughs....well thats my feeling

Messaging and getting to know quite a few nice girls on there at this very moment but at the weekend there my faith was restored in meeting people in clubs....met a lovely girl when I was out on Saturday and we have been texting each other pretty much constantly since then.

Glad to see people are getting on well with some hilarious stories...no need to guees what one in particular.

I also signed up for OKCupid to see what it was like, its an attractive interface especially compared to PoF and seems to have a lot of people on it too so worthwhile checking out.
