Earlier this evening was out getting some wood for the fire from the garage and a light in the sky caught my attention. Moving slowly at a steady speed glowing an orange colour, it was because it wasn't flashing that it made me look twice.
Watched it for a bit then called my wife and got kid to tell him it was Rudolf.
Went to get my camera then when I went back out I was amazed to see it at the other side of the sky on the same course as previously. Later realised that it wasn't likely same one as 2 of them appeared at once travelling across sky.
Live nearish to airport and see aircraft regularly coming and going and so I'm confident it wasn't aeroplane or helicopter. Also had time to get my binoculars and could see a larger darker shape behind the glow although was difficult to make out shape.
So there you go, maybe it was Santa and his mates but I'm genuinely stumped to what these lights would have been.
This was in Newtownabbey, partly cloudy, 3 lights moving S, maybe SW. So when in doubt post in GD cus Christymas eve is as good as time as any to see weird lights in the sky.
