iPad Pro 4th gen still current today?

hey guys,

im in need of a new iPad for my golf sim setup. I currently have the air 5th gen, which is great, but I want the extra real estate from the 12.9 inch.

its only for this, so would a 4th gen IPP still hold up for a few years yet? The software is not very demanding but like I said, NEED the extra inches! (don't we all ).

4th gen is the A12Z/6GB RAM which isn't massively behind the M1 but if you could stretch to the M1 it'd probably be sensible.

Will have a look around then. See what u can dig up!

The A12 generation will likely be dropped in iOS 18 this year while the M1 series will get at least 2-3 more years. Definitely worth looking around for one.

yeah, gonna pull the trigger on a M1 later today, prices dropped a little from CEX..must be in preparation of the new ones coming out next week.
