Hi all,

Have done the glass replacement which has gone ok, now have another issue. The earphone and proximity sensor are not working.

i am guessing this is from the very smally ribbon connector that is numbered 3 on the inside. The snag i am having is that the little black clip that pushes down on this has come away from the main body. Has anyone any experience of refiting this clip and if so, how did you go about it? Is it a slide up clip or does it simply just push down from on top of the connector?

Any help is greatly appreciated on this as it is driving me mad and i have a few bottles of wine waiting for me if i manage to get it repaired (or a large bill for a new phone for a mate if i cant...)

Connector in question is th ewee black on under number 3 in the pic

Have spent what seems like 13 hours trying to get the clip back in place and am swearing violently at it now and have gone proper bug eyed.....must find a magnifier somewhere.....
