iPhone messaging and some other questions?!

I hate the way messaging works on the iPhone. No timestamps on all messages, no inbox AND outbox. no forwarding of messages.
Anyone know of a better messaging app?

When posting here, the window for text box enlarges more than I would like. On the 3GS it allowed me' to set the size i want to see and not change it, but on iPhone 4 it zooms in.
Anyway to stop this?

On the apple store I cannot search for things! I enter a word to search but there is nothing to actually start the search!
What am i doing wrong there?!

Not sure about the 4 but on the 3GS, you can tap edit then forward when reading a text message

You mean the "Return" key on the OSK (bottom left) doesn't turn blue and display "Search" instead of "Return"?"

You know what, it does! My thumbs cover that button so didn't notice!!!

He doesn't mean holding down the message to highlight text/copy the message. Press the Edit button at the top right of the screen, then you get the option to delete or forward individual or multiple messages by means of tickboxes.
