Iran - does it stop with them?

Sigh, cue arugments about whether they were in Irainan waters or not. Knowing the RN, there was probably a Frigate 3 yards away but it was ordered not to open fire :rolleyes:

Time for a bit of shock and awe tbh!

Are you referring to the story in today's Mail? I loved that. Yeah, take aggressive action against pirates holding hostages. That'll work out great.
 
Love how people are justifying the west's tyrannical attitude and yet failing to realise that they might genuinely be wanting to make nuclear power plants and not bloody bombs, just because Israel claim so.

Yeah nuclear "power plants", so that's why they built a secret nuclear facility in a hardened underground site. Sure.
 
All of the UK's atom bombs a few decades ago were manufactured using uranium sourced directly from our 'civilian' power stations. In fact, such was the internal (and secret) demand for it that safety was put at risk on numerous occasions.

At least Iran are building theirs underground instead of iradiating their own population.

That is why the West are so critical of Iran. Because we used the exact same cover a few decades ago.

Besides whats the difference between Israel having nukes and Iran, there both just as bad as each other. Personally i'm more scared of Israel then Iran.

So they want to be independant, what on earth is wrong with that?

They have Uranium mines, why on earth should they be forced to buy off us?

Considering how the shooting down of Iran Air 655 came about, I can fully understand why the Iranians zealously enforce control over their territorial waters.

If Iran does want nuclear technology for domestic energy production then importing uranium would be extremely stupid. Why voluntarily put yourself into the same relationship as Ukraine has with Russia for gas supplies?

1. Because if they don't they're going to get the carp bombed out of them. And secondly we're not charging them at all. They have no reason, other than wanting to develop a nuclear weapon to refuse the offer. And anyhow they've just turned their back on the US, so they are totally ****ed if they continue down this path.

No they're not. Also, you don't know what they're intentions are and you could easily just be spouting baseless nonsense.

I'd have thought people would have learnt from Iraq and what happens when you start making false claims about WMD's and making stuff up in order to fear-monger.

Amazing, so because they want to be independant, there going to get bombed?

And because unlike us, they wont bow to american pressure, again they get bombed.

They have already shown they are making plants not bombs, just western media has spun it so.
