Is all Crucial memory 5300 & 6400 Micron chips

As tile which is overclocking better and which use D9 micron chips ?

They both use the exact same chips. If your overclocking just go for the 5300 rated to save a bit of money. It will clock to 800MHZ 3-3-3-12 even 1000MHZ 4-4-4-12.

What chips are they using now ? they havnt started using BGA chips have they ?

They are using the D9 Micron chips they always have been. Most likely the D9 D9GMH Chips.

This is true but i'd rather get the 6400 for resell
people just don't like the idea of 5300 no matter
if you tell them it's exactly the same.

I can see that Crucial & Corsair use some of the Samsung Chips.

Good job I didnt can the 2Gb of Samsung I have now and go for the Crucial Value RAM for an extra £40 more
