Ashley Spurlin, the USAF CCT that took part in Top Shot. Wikipedia says he was KIA in July, but I can't find anything else on it on the internet. Just wondering if anyone on here can confirm/deny? Thanks
 
I have no idea who that is - and have never even heard that name mentioned before.

That's a first for me on GD. And I've been here a while - and seen a lot of RIP / death threads.

After a bit of Googling - I get an idea of who he is / what he did etc - but what percentage of people in here do you think have heard of him ?

Was he in the Air Force and then got famous on TV - or was it that he was a great shot and various distances (just not Olympic standard)

I don't expect many people to have heard of him, was just wondering if anyone that watched the show had heard anything about it.

I know a man who would know but he doesn't get out much so you'll need to go to him. He's currently on the second floor of the Ecuadorian Embassy near Harrods in London, just ask for 'Jules'; they'll know who you mean.
