..with the EVGA 470 on offer today ?
it probably doesnt make any difference but it's an EVGA card I have just now (8800 GTS 512) and was thinking of upgrading anyway so this caught my eye!

currently have... abit p35 pro mobo, e8400 cpu, corsair 620w psu

wont be overclocking the gfx at all

just want to make sure i'm getting the right card as I dont upgrade very often (8800 was just released when I got it!)

EVGA still have the finest graphics cards. EVGA will be my next choice of GPU for certain.

The 470 we have on offer is excellent because it has the high airflow bracket and nifty backplate which looks ultra sweet in person and helps the temps too. Also it gives you a little "nicer" looking card than other reference 470s.

Love EVGA, had an EVGA GTX 260, great card and sold on for a decent price, currently have an EVGA 480SC, clocks real well and 100% stable. 10 year warranty is nice if you don't upgrade often.

EVGA are still very good but not sure I agree with saying the "finest" most of the top overclockers (non water) are not coming from EVGA, and since the hybrid 275 250 combo not really many custom pcb's.......

Increased copper, solid caps, better PWM, lower TDP cards etc etc are lacking from them.

Warranty wise they are still very strong though.
