Tea is made with hot water and tea bags in a cup or pot
Crumpets, tea cakes etc are a delicious option extra to go with the tea that sits between Lunch and dinner. Dinner should be consumed at a proper time (8pm) with a light snack at 5/6pm with the cup of tea.

I never really thought about it for the 20 years I lived there, but thinking about it now referring to it all as food is quite funny

The word "after" is used a lot in Wales to cover a whole multitude of time based sins.
