Is it me or is this really cheap?

Good luck insuring it :p

:p

Insurance would probably be the same price as the car to be honest, that's if anyone will actually insure me :p

Quite cheap, I don't think it's *too* cheap though. The guy just might want a quick sale.

I was looking at MY00 ones for about 5...

If he got the backbox put on i don't think they're very cheap - even for a backbox :O

Older turbo 2000's are getting very affordable these days. However they are pretty dated and arent as quick as a lot of people make them out to be.

Spot on!! Plus I think with scoobs it is still a buyers market, and cars have to be priced accordingly. Anything is only worth what someone will pay for it.

Car price - £3,650
Insurance quote - £3,697

lol.

It is tempting though, I must admit - That's fully comp, with my accident and speeding declared. hmmm...

That does look a good deal. I really do like the look of them, not too over done like the Impreza's around here.

Try Bell and add both your parents as named drivers.

I'm practically the same age as you and for a 98 Audi A3 1.8 T Quattro Sport (car price £3300, 180BHP IG:17) I got a quote of £1,500. Was over £2K before I added my parents too.
