My front-panel power on-off switch is flaking out - it only occasionally powers on and usually has to be pressed two or three times to coax it to life. Presumably a loose connection but it's not clear what the problem is!

I have an antex P160. Is it possible to buy a new front panel?

cheers

Pete

Is it simply a matter of isolating the two wires from the power header pins and separate them from the main front panel cabling and soldering them to the new switch? My power switch feeds into a little printed circuit board - so I would have to identify the inputs and solder them directly to the switch?

Also, any recommendations where I can pick up a cheap switch?

Any of the modding sites sell them, usually about £10 though, im sure you could get them cheaper.

The auction site has loads from £1 of different types. You can get a illuminated vandal switch from about £5, incl delivery.
