I have been using this software in place on WMP, itunes etc as it just seems to be more reliable, not stutter etc. But is it possible to display album art rather than the orange cone? Had a look at the options for visualisations & tried a Google search but can't find the answer. Can anyone help please?

Maybe yours is different, but my music folder has a folder for each album.

You need to use Google Images to find the album art for your album, and save it into your albums' folder. It should then show up in VLC. I was just messing around with it there, and I don't think it has to be called "folder.jpg", you can call it anything you want.

VLC has done this for ages? As long as the album artwork is embedded in the ID3 tags (you can use MP3tag to do this, works with practically evey music file format) it'll display. Btw if you actually want high quality artwork please go to www.albumartexchange.com . Most artwork is available in 1000x1000 or 1500x1500 and derived from the masters rather than via users scanning in. If not www.getvideoartwork.com is good for movie , TV Shower and music artwork.
