I sold my 1080Ti for £460 about a month ago, so no.I reckon that the 2080ti will be worth around 400-500 S/H once the new cards come out. There will also be a lot of people waiting to jump on the EoL stock once new cards arrive so you need to factor that in too.
When the 3080Ti lands, I reckon the 2080Ti will still sell for £800.
Could be totally wrong but that's my guess. Some people won't want to spend £1349, they will want a 2nd hand 2080Ti for ~£800.
Well if the prices stay this high at least my 1080ti will still be worth £460 in a few months time.I sold my 1080Ti for £460 about a month ago, so no.

I'm also going out on a limb and saying the cheapest 3080Ti will be £1349. Why not if the current cheapest 2080Ti is £1049 (on OcUK)

Or a brand new 3080 for the same or less?Could be totally wrong but that's my guess. Some people won't want to spend £1349, they will want a 2nd hand 2080Ti for ~£800.
just posted in the other thread, just sold my 2080 ti for £900.
Hoping for the 3x series release sooner rather than later.
+1Why is everyone accepting that more performance equals a lot more money?
It should be 70 series trades with 80ti of previous generation for no more than £100 more than previous 70 series.
Did you do it OP or are you still using your 2080Ti?
I have indeed removed the 2080ti from my pc, currently very happily using a 2060 super, OC it , getting some great 4k results, lots of tweaking, but yeah totally liveable in the short term...(see my post further up for further tweaking details at 4k)
I have not yet got round to putting my 2080ti up for sale, but I shall be doing so very soon.
Because pass history of Nvidia releases has taught us not to have wishful thinking but be a realist. Why is everyone accepting that more performance equals a lot more money?

I just can’t understand someone dropping that on a card at this stage in the lifecycle. Why would you not already have one? Why not just buy one with warranty?

Just look at the price point of 2070 launched at £100~£150 more than 1070, and was still quite a bit slower than the 1080ti, while the 2080 that as slightly faster than the 1080ti launched at £100-£150 higher in price than the 1080ti did.
Its has over 2 years remaining on the warranty.
Why take it out before selling? Won't the buyer want to check it works first? Unless you're selling online I guess
I say sell it, so someone can get an RTX 2080 Ti at a good price xD
Just got mine for £700..
