I'm in need of some funds (not desperate, but i'm just rounding up a few things i could sell).

I bought/built my machine in November 2006 and at the time it was top of the range, i understand it will have depreciated greatly since then, so my question is, is it worth me selling it? (i'm also looking for a valuation/where would be best to sell it if so..)

Intel Core2Duo E6600 (OC'd 3.2ghz on air, no voltage change)
ATI Radeon X1950XTX 512mb
2gb DDR2 Corsair 6400
ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
Thermaltake Armor Full Tower (4x 120mm 1x250mm 1x90mm)
2x160gb Seagate Barracuda 7200.10s (Raid 0, could be configured for Raid 1)
Silverstone Strider 600W PSU
Scythe Ninja Rev.B
Then the usual bits and bobs.. CD/DVDRW, Floppy, all black/flush.

Machine is in perfect condition, about 8months old, currently both the CPU/GPU are overclocked.

I have no use for a machine anymore as i rarely play games and my laptop has basically made this obsolete.

It wouldn't come with an OS (unless they want linux which i could pre-install.. bit pointless)

What do you think?

I dont think you're allowed to do quotations on here, that kind of thing is limited to the members market forums which you won't have access to yet. Sorry!

PK!

Okay guys, scratch the quote then.

Just opinions on whether or not its worth selling it considering the deprecation?

Cheers

Popular auction sites might be an idea, or local classified ads. It would definately be worth selling, but I don't think I can give a valuation here.

And also in the end it is whether you think you can get more selling it as one system or whether you break it down and sell the parts individually.

IMO you will get more money breaking it down and selling the parts on a large auction site. I've been looking on there and some systems go for about £150 less than if they had broken it down for parts.
