Is McDonalds in decline in Britain?

*Insert generic comment about how much I hate McDonalds and have only ate there when I ran out of money during my brief spell as a homeless man**

**This comment also adds nothing to the thread.

The one in my town centre closed a long time ago, and it was the only one I had ever been to that sold the Mega Mac

I'm a real burger lover, don't get me wrong; but that is just thin tasteless meat with plastic cheese and limp iceberg lettuce!

I was annoyed when they got rid of Supersize portions because the vast swathes of completely stupid huge people* couldnt stop ordernig huge portions, so now nobody can.

*I am in no way implying all huge people are stupid, just the ones who ordered supersize McDonalds meals.

Just been thinking lately, that it seems like the golden arches are in something of a retreat at the moment.

No

At its lowest in 2003 the Mcdonalds Share price was $13 a share. They made their first ever loss and made their "plan to win"

Share price is currently not far off its all time highest which was recorded recently - of $80 a share. Its currently at $77 a share.

So no, they are not in decline.
