Hi all. I just set up my new monitor today, and i have to say it's awesome. however, after perhaps an hour of use (no problems at the beginning whatsoever right down to packaging), i loaded up Football manager at which point a thin (pixel thick perhaps) perfectly straight line formed horizontally across my monitor. I thought this may be something to do with the resolution or connection but it turns out that even when the screen is not plugged into the graphics card the line is still visible through the backlight. On top of this, a second line has formed further down the screen, completely out of no where. this happened while i was middle mouse button scrolling in IE.

Time to send it back to DGM? (or make use of this collect and swap service that sounds suspiciously straight forward).

Thanks x

Assuming you just got it OCUK is who you need to deal with. Don't go with DGM as if they do replace it you'll more than likely just get a refurb. With OCUK you'll get a new one or your money back.

thanks muchos for the replies. it's been delivered 14 days now (i'm at uni and couldn't get it down here to test out for ages). will OCUK take it back after the 7 day sales law thingy? Cheers all.

Yeah the 7 days is only for Distance Selling Regulations, which you're not using, you're just sending it back as a regular faulty RMA, and OcUK will deal with you because it's within the first 30 days. After 30 days they tell you to contact the manufacturer which they shouldn't do really, it's still their responsibility.

yeah the distance selling act is just because you havn't actually seen the product before you buy!! you can send it back no matter what in the first 14 days i think! You should be covered through clockers up to a month.
