Iv been told by a thew people that my pc isnt running to its potential speeds and im believing them :mad:

the score im getting in 32mark06 is 2984 with the following:

CPU FSB - 236.0 MHz
CPU core speed - 2596.2MHz @ 1.408V
Multiplier - 11x
HTT - 236 MHz

Ram timings - 2.5/3/2/5 at 1T
Ram Speed - 470.000 MHz @ 2.7

Pci Express - 2850 MHz
3D Core speed - 600 MHz
GPU Mem - 800MHz

vsync always forced on because of extreme tearing.

In this heat, whilst browsing the net and listening to music ect my cpu temp roughly gets to 43/45c

can you spot anything wrong with this :confused:


playing bf2 in a heated fight at 1152x864 everything on medium and x4 aa turns slow and affects gameplay :( when i dont think it should
 
That all sounds believeable...


The A8N-SLi SE is a nassty board to try and get any kind of nice overclock out of, that said, with those temps you'd probally not wanna push it futher.

don't bother with '06 until you got dual-core, it likes them

i get ~5000-5500 in '06 with my system:

3000+ at 2.6Ghz
1Gb XMS pro at 2.5,3,3,6 1T 237Mhz
7900GT at 660/1000
74Gb Raptor

all watercooled OFC :p

Thats a pretty decent score for a single core/single card setup. I got about 6.5k with 1 7900GT and ny cpu @ 2.6.

Went up to 8k with 2 cards :)
 
6391 with vsync off, i cant stand tearing tho :mad:

even with vsync forced on.. in windows when i drag a window, the sides tear when it shouldnt. theirs gotta be a solution to this. its so frustrating
 
not really if your just monitoring FPS, its a hit if you want to record
i think there is a console command to see FPS in BF2
 
In bf2... the only way to get a stable fps of 75 @ 1152x864 75htz is to turn all the advanced settings to low, and turning aa off, which i hate doin considering i spent over 600 on this setup :(

An extra 7600gt better fix this!!!!!

Im getting a new widescreen monitor this week so i will be playing at 1440 x 900 grrrr
