im running gulftown at 4.5ghz with crossfire 5870s and a watercooling loop that doesnt even stress my hx850

if you have the HX850 then you will be fine.

the supply actually works up to 1050w but corsair rate it lower to keep it quiet

lol why do people worry about power supplys so much

    1 x oc i7
    6 x 120mm fans
    1 x 90 mm fan
    1 x 220 mm fan
    3 x 1.5 TB hardrives
    2 x optical drives
    2 x oc 470 gtxs
    1 x 18 w pump
    4 x uv cold cathodes

all i can say corsair build bloody good power supplys

Because graphics cards manufacturers etc make everyone think you need more wattage than you actually do if you buy decent branded PSUs. ;)

the psu of a pc is one of the most overlooked components and nobody wants it to go bang and take the system with it
