Is my feet positioning unusual?

I have size 14 feet and have to do something similar with my feet positioning but more on the heel and a little less on the side of my right foot (my polo is designed for the shorter individual so I have to squat a bit anyway).

The only thing that is abnormal is that you dig the side of your heel into the floor a bit... (prepares for a whole list of threads of "I crashed whilst looking at my feet position whilst driving")

Same here, in fact I wore down the right side of the heel on my old work shoes from driving! I wonder if it's something to do with having long legs/feet and short arms? :p the steering wheel in the Focus does't adjust far enough for reach, so if the seat's far back enough for my legs, I have to stretch for the steering wheel.

Overclockers.co.uk, the only forum that complains about the tidiness of ones trousers and the ugliness of ones shoes when OP is asking about his foot positioning. :D

My heel sits almost in line with my brake pedal so I'm pretty much the same as you, you seem to have pretty big feet so really, it's not that unusual for you! It's easy to pivot your foot on your heel, than pick your foot up and move it to the brake and back, I assumed this natural personally.

Heel & toe wise, I pivot on my toes from the brake pedal and hit the accelerator with my heel :P Though it's a maneouvor I'm still perfecting somewhat... Rover pedals are awkward to heel/toe

Why move your whole leg between brake and throttle if you can just move your foot instead?

Heel and toe isn't possible if your foot is pointing away from the brake pedal.

Also it's not like you have to move far to go from throttle to the brake pedal if you have your feet correctly positioned :\

Yeah, Clarkes rang, they want their year 9 shoes back :D

My foot is rested way to the right of yours, but then I have a proper accelerator pedal, one that comes out of the floor :)

lol, you heard it here first, only pedals which come 'out of the floor' are proper. I guess the clutch and brake are pauper spec then, sucks to be you Lucero.

Mine is pretty much the same, hence the wear on the outside edges of my right shoes :D

I just find that more comfortable when I am using the pedals, when I am on cruise, I just stick both feet under the pedals on the bulkhead if the road is clear ahead.
