Is my feet positioning unusual?

Feek, how long have you had that car? I'm pretty sure I remember you having it at the OcUK Swansea meet I attended almost 10 years ago. It's a saloon, right?

330k has to be the highest mileage I've ever seen on a Focus. You've obviously looked after it well. Are you planning a change or are you just going to run it until it can run no more? :D
That's the one - Bought it new in 2000 when it was cheaper to import cars from Europe than buy in the UK so that's what I did.

It's a 2000 Focus Saloon, 1.8TDi Ghia, overclocked to 115 bhp and 240 nm (overclocked to those figures, lol). Mechanically it's sound but the bodywork is a little rusty in the usual places. I've got a replacement boot lid ready to go on because of the rust around the lifting handle bit which I picked up from eBay.

It had a new set of shocks about six months ago and I've been through plenty of alternators and batteries over the years.

I'm still on the original exhaust though.

Apart from the fact that it sounds like a rattly old taxi, it still goes well. I still blat around the country lanes like there's no tomorrow, getting frustrated with sunday drivers etc etc.

My plan was always to run it forever and that's what I'm doing.

Waiting to see other peoples pictures....

Bored waiting for someone so here you go:

That's not as severe as the OP, braking like a normal person too :)

Car is a bit messy though.

Drive in a similar position, but as other people have said, doesn't help having huge feet! Just feels uncomfortable without a bit of angle on the foot!

I noticed today that I do have my foot slightly at an angle, pretty much the same as POB.

It only gets cleaned when it goes for a service.

However I might need to rethink this policy as this car only needs the dealer every two years :(.

 The less said the better, I guess.

Jesus I was just thinking about this on the way home today whilst sat in traffic. Exactly the same as the OP and I was thinking that it was a bit weird as a number of people have commented. Obviously they are in the minority..

This thread stinks of "you're a nobody if you wear cheap shoes for work".

I wear cheap 15 quid shoes for work as they get scruffy and worn within a couple of months. I ain't going to spend loads on the latest designer trendy trendy shoes to ruin.
