Is My MoBo Faulty? - Memory Failures, Unable to Install Windows, RAR Extractions Problems.

Glad its working anything over 5600 is overclocking as far as the memory controller on the CPU is concerned but a lot of people run at 6000 that said theres a post in the dram price surge thread where someone has to run their mem at 5800 because it wan't stable at 6000.

Its a bit of a silicon lottery but you will probably be able to bump the speed a step or two higher when you've got the time to test its still stable. Some people bump their RAM voltage a little to get it stable at higher frequencies but I'd leave that alone unless you know what you are doing / someone else can advise you what the safe limits are.

Thank you.
I'll try 6000 when I've time, but I'll leave bumping the voltage alone. As I don't know what I'm doing.
