Is my XFX HD 6850 old?

OK, so I bought an HD 6850. When I installed the drivers from the CD it says ATI, which is a bit odd since ATI merged into AMD and my friend owns a 6770 which says AMD HD 6770 on the box and the CD driver. But my HD 6850 says ATI.

Just wondering is my HD 6850 older model?

Don't use the drivers supplied on the disk , get the latest ones for your OS straight from the horses mouth,

Yeah I know that's what I did. But I'm curious why it says ATI. I think I may have an older model but I not sure.

ATI/AMD its just branding, ignore it and go play some games.
