It dries your mouth out, is chewy and tastes like, well, cardboard...
(Yes I have tried it and I'm still here! I didn however wash it down with some foam from a fire hydrant just to be safe!)
It's good you are comfortable with your lifestyle choice too.

I shred / blend my oats, increasing the surface area of them. The effectiveness of 'blowing up' is definitely apparent as I get stronger wind compared to when I don't blend!

a lot of natural mueslis have raw porridge oats as the base ingredient,nothing wrong with them in moderation,just don't go over the top,like all grains they're not easily digested. Definitely better off cooking them well to soften them up,much nicer that way anyway,especially with whole milk and a pinch of salt.

I've eaten raw porridge by accident, while it didn't kill me I did have a rather bad stomach ache a few hours after consumption... So I wouldn't recommend it!

Raw porridge could be very dangerous...if ground to a fine powder and mixed with air in a confined space and then exposed to a naked flame.

guys i was gonna have some raw toast and marmite for breakfast but i need to know "will explode?"
i know the NKVD used to kill people with it in the 40s. They would mix it with plastic explosive and tie it to a dog and run under a tank with it.

Yes, eating raw porridge is incredibly dangerous. It's how the English subdued the Scots hundreds of years ago - they threatened to stop their access to water/milk, so they had to give up
