Is the flash (4gb) storage faster than the mechanical HDD?

i have a 4gb xbox with a 120gb hdd.

where is the best place to save game files? (not installing the game)

im guessing the flash storage is faster for loading times?

Save files are so small that I can't imagine it making any real difference.

Put them on the 120GB HDD. If you ever move to a bigger HDD, I don't think you can easily transfer stuff that's on the 4GB drive. Better to keep everything in the same place IMHO.

thanks, wasnt sure if the save files were that big. they are on the mechanical atm
