I have it set to 2.6 or 4 and not that often do I bother with 4ghz
CS will run on anything, arma 3 might be a challenge because of the AI but 2.6 still fine I think
not meaning to hijack this thread but have the same processor overclocked to 4ghz. Im looking to upgrade my machine with a couple of SSD`s etc and would like SATA3 and USB3 capability which my current motherboard does not support. Been reading about the new LGA1155 Z77 chipset and LGA2011 X79 chipsets which support this, but reluctant to lose quite a good processor(1366 slot). Anyone know if there are any 1366 boards coming that will support USB3/SATA3 or If i do have to change the processor, have the question of should I go 1155 or 2011... my minds totally boggled atm.

Fellow from Notts, even if the GTX470 may be getting a bit rusty it still has the potential I think. Of couse gaming on 1080 with all extras is not possible in some games. Decrease the details and wait to get a cheaper 7850/70 or soemthing frm the new 6xx series from Nvidia if you really struggle.
Still a good chip and will be for a couple of years yet.
