Is the Sapphire HD 7850 2048MB best value for that price range at £190. I prefer Nvidea and looked at the 560TI and 560TI (448) but the PC i am puting it into is only a 460wPSU i think off top of my head has 2 12v saying 18amp each.

Would this PSU be good enough to power any of these cards? And which would use the least power?
I like the MSI FrozR range but they are £20 more and out of stock currently on the 7850

Ahh, thanks for the link will read through that. Would have preferred the MSI FrozR but the other is £20 cheaper so prob go for that. Always preferred Nvidea for the PhysiX and also it's mainly for BF3 but it's a decent for the price point :O)

To answer your question, the Sapphire HD 7850 2Gb is not the best value 7850. The 7850 is the best value card at the moment though and pretty much matches a 570 which, for some reason, are still more expensive. See Anand.:)

How you mean, is it not a good brand of card? It's the cheapest one available or Powercooler a few pounds more but then that's ref fan

Hi - purchased the sapphire on saturday and immediately maxed out the ccc overdrive at 1050 and am playing all my games at 1920 *1080 - its fantastic compared to my last card and so quiet (iv come from a HD 4870).

Also, im running it on a 460 akasa psu and have had no problems at all - im not saying a bigger psu wouldnt be safer, but on the basis that it uses far less power than my hd 4870, i figured id be safe.

Although a new psu is on my shopping list at some point

cheers
